LAWTON, OK - Chip Keating took the debate stage in Lawton tonight, putting career politicians on defense as voters got a clear look at the difference between an Oklahoma First conservative and phony politicians looking for their next job.
“My opponents have been in office for years and they spent tonight doing what they always do: deflecting, dodging, and hoping that nobody notices their record,” Chip said. “We are living with the consequences of their Oklahoma Last policies, big government spending, and failed leadership. The People of Oklahoma want to see our state win again, and I’m going to deliver for them as governor.”
Unlike his opponents, Keating has never held elected office. He started his career as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, found success as an oil and gas businessman, and later served as Secretary of Public Safety. Throughout the evening, Keating drew clear lines between his Oklahoma First agenda and the failed records of his opponents.
“I’m fighting for safe and clean streets, stronger schools, lower taxes, less spending, and a common sense, conservative government,” Chip added. “None these problems are new, they’re problems that’ve been ignored by the same politicians asking for your vote on June 16. Oklahomans have a clear choice on Election Day and I believe they're going to get it right."
