OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - After today’s gubernatorial forum hosted by the Oklahoma Hospital Association and Griffin Media, Chip Keating picked up the endorsement of medical professionals who said Oklahoma needs a governor who’s ready to lead on day one.
“When you look at who's running for governor, Chip stands out. He's not a career politician,” Dr. Faulconer, a pediatrician from Oklahoma City. “Oklahoma’s healthcare community needs a conservative leader who will cut red tape and deliver better services for patients and providers alike, and that’s why I’m supporting Chip Keating for governor.”
“In the medical profession, I put my trust in people who have proven themselves under pressure. That’s Chip,” said Dr. Hudkins, a otolaryngologist from Tulsa. “He has the character, the record, and the vision to move Oklahoma forward and I’m proud to support Chip Keating as our next governor.”
At the forum, Keating made the case that Oklahoma’s next governor needs to be a principled, America First conservative, and that his background as a trooper and independent businessman is exactly the kind of record that Oklahomans are looking for.
“Our medical professionals dedicate their lives to putting Oklahomans first, and they deserve a governor who will do the same,” said Keating. “Oklahoma's healthcare system is too important to leave in the hands of career politicians. We have a shortage of providers in rural Oklahoma, we have families driving hours to access basic care, and we have a state government that hasn’t done enough to make the system work for Oklahoma. I'm humbled by the support of Dr. Hudkins and Dr. Faulconer, and I'm ready to get to work for Oklahoma.”
