Keating Earns Support from Voters at Young Republican Women’s Forum

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Chip Keating joined the Young Republican Women of Oklahoma for a candidate forum Monday night, where he earned support from voters in attendance after sharing his plans to put Oklahoma families first and hold career politicians accountable for years of failure.

“What stands out about Chip is everything he brings to the table,” said Linda Haneborg, a forum attendee. “He’s a businessman, he’s served in law enforcement, and he understands how the system works without being part of the problem. Chip’s got energy, he’s genuine, and he’s the kind of leader who can actually bring people together and move Oklahoma forward.”

“As a young woman thinking about raising a family in Oklahoma, I want a governor who’s focused on our future,” said Malorie Wood, another event attendee. “Chip made it clear that Oklahomans are his priority, and after hearing from him, it’s clear he’s ready to take responsibility and turn Oklahoma around.”

While questions varied drastically for each candidate, Keating addressed a range of issues and drew contrast between his background as a state trooper, public safety leader, and businessman, and opponents who have spent years in office.

“I’m grateful to the Young Republican Women of Oklahoma for hosting tonight’s conversation,” said Keating.“There’s a real sense across Oklahoma that we’ve been settling for less than we deserve, and they’re right. Career politicians haven’t put Oklahoma first, they’ve been too busy playing politics and trying to move up the ladder. People aren’t buying it anymore, and we’re going to hold them accountable on June 16th.”
